SNEC 2026 Conference
Recent SWCS Southern New England Chapter (SNEC) conferences have focused on wetland restoration, water quality and solar energy. At SNEC’s 2026 Conference, the spotlight will be on soil and sediment – surficial or subaqueous, intact or disturbed, contaminated or pristine.
The SNEC planning committee invites you to submit a presentation for the in-person event at
SOIL MATTERS

The following presentation types are requested:
- Oral Presentation (20-30 minutes)
- Hands-On Workshop (90 minutes)
- Panel Presentation/Discussion (30-90 minutes)
- Poster Presentation
- Tag-Team Presentation with Exhibitor (see below)
Abstracts should be submitted to events@swcssnec.org.
Please include author(s) and affiliation.
Deadline to submit: Monday, May 18, 11:59 p.m.
We welcome speakers on topics including but not limited to:

- Coastal Shoreline Protection
- Soil Conservation Techniques
- Soil Contamination and Remediation
- Slope Stabilization
- Soil Resiliency
