The Soil & Water Conservation Society (SWCS) is a nonprofit scientific and educational organization. The Southern New England Chapter (SNEC) was founded in 1946 to serve CT, MA and RI. SNEC is funded by event income, membership dues (<$500/year) and sponsorship; the annual Winter Conference is the SNEC’s primary source of revenue.
